Patient Journey

What to Expect

1

First Appointment

Meet with our specialist to discuss your symptoms and medical history. We'll explain the procedure and give you clear instructions on how to prepare, including what you can and cannot eat.

2

Getting Ready

Don't eat or drink for 6-8 hours before your appointment. For colon checks, you'll need to take special medicine to clean your bowels. Your doctor will tell you which medications to take or skip.

3

Arrival at the Clinic

Come 30 minutes early. Fill in some forms, change into a hospital gown, and we'll put a small needle in your arm for the relaxation medicine.

4

During the Procedure

You'll be given medicine to help you relax and sleep lightly. The doctor gently inserts a thin camera tube to examine your digestive system. Most patients don't remember anything afterwards.

5

Recovery & Going Home

Rest comfortably for 30-60 minutes while the medicine wears off. The doctor will share initial findings with you. You must have someone drive you home as you cannot drive after sedation.

6

Follow-Up Visit

Come back to discuss any test results from tissue samples. Get a detailed report and advice on next steps or treatment if needed.
